Rob Bryanton made his first record at 12,and was host of a regional CBC-TV music series at 20. He is President of Talking Dog Studios in Regina,Saskatchewan,Canada, an authorized Dolby 5.1 mix facility which specializes in music and sound for film and television. Talking Dog created the music and sound for the upcoming theatrical release "Surveillance", co-written and directed by Jennifer Lynch. Rob has been nominated 9 times in the last 9 years for Canada's prestigious Gemini Awards, 4 times in the category “Best Original Music Score for a Dramatic Series”, and 5 times for “Best Sound for a Dramatic Program”. Recent composing/mixing projects for Rob include the hugely popular CTV series “Corner Gas” (also launched fall 2007 on the WGN Superstation), and two CBC-TV mini-series “Prairie Giant: The Tommy Douglas Story”, and “The Englishman’s Boy”. An active volunteer in his community, Rob is the current President of the Saskatchewan Motion Picture Association. While Rob has had poems and song lyrics published in several anthologies, “Imagining the Tenth Dimension” is his first book. Rob lives in Regina with his wife Gail and their dog Buddy, and they have 2 sons, Todd and Mark.
